LEVE is on a distinguished road
Default

When it's running... check the voltage on the battery. It should be around 14.7 to no more than 15.3 volts. If it is higher, the regulator may be shot and cooking the battery.

Default 95 jeep wrangler problems: Update!

Sorry it's been so long in getting back to this with an "Update!"

After a couple of months of just putting this problem on the back burner...since it's not a daily driver.

We(fiancee' and me) decided to bite the bullet and see if we could finally get her Jeep fixed.

We ended up taking it to local Jeep dealer, and they decided it needed a new computer. ($600.00!)

So now after 2 weeks, it's still running perfect.

We could've probably found a way to replaced the computer cheaper than what we did?

But they did give us 12 month/12,000 mile guarantee on it? Of course we're hoping that won't need to be used?

Oh well! Maybe next time things will go easier?

Thanks
