Bash 2008 Weather

Looks like I may have an exaust manifold to put on the jeep before I leave, I may take Tueseday off so I can be done and there by wed eve. As for the faimly they are out. They don't want anything to do with rain. Besides it is gonna be a bit chilly for the younguns.

Actually Thursday, Friday, and Saturday aren't looking bad now.
Will change again a few times before we get there though, I'm sure.

2005 was when our tent got torched by lightening. Very wet Friday night but all together not a bad weekend.
2006 was wet and freezing cold ALL DANG weekend. We wussed out and got a hotel room Friday night and headed home Saturday night.

Headed to Indy in a little while to meet Dale and buy the rest of the raffle prizes.
If the weather cooperates it ought to be yet another fantastic Bash.

While butterflys in Tokyo are unlikely to change things here in Indiana... It is very likely that changes in the Jet Streams will. The weather guessers just can't get their hands around that yet. But you know... that is just part of a bigger picture that we all have to live with.

Bring shorts a rain jacket and a heavy blanket along with whatever you were thinking... It will work out.

I wish we could have gotten a couple more days in the field before all this rain hit but we're in pretty good shape. I don't forsee 3" of rain in the last week drying up with low 60's as a high and another chance or two of rain before Thursday.

Translation:

Expect a black Dodge pullin' a pink YJ to come rollin' into camp Thursday nite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
