I'm not familiar with that particular winch, but Rio Grande bought an inexpensive winch last summer and has been well pleased with it so far. I don't know how many hard pulls he's had with it, but last I knew he was happy with it. I think he paid a little more that this one's priced at, but not sure about that. He should chime in later today.

Mile Marker 8000 no load line speed is 13 Ft/Min
Duke 8000 no load line speed is 42 Ft/Min

Well worth an extra $66 if the winch will perform.
That's why I'm so interested in the quality of these.
Besides, I don't care for the MM winches much. I hate that clutch thing.

Thanks for the link tho... I'm not looking for me, I have a couple of friends that want 9k winches for full size Jeeps.

I'm running the Warn 16.5 ti right now, I think I'll stick with it for a long time.

Duke=Raymart.

I negotiated with winch king for A while when I was thinking about retailing them. I only stayed away because I couldn't make enough Money to make it attractive to me to go through the grief.

I Bought a Tmax for the jeep. I like it alot. It is howeer slow.

I have a 7500 lb Champion I bought at SAMS 300.00 and I couldn't be happier with it.

I wanted to try one of the winch kings. They market them as a Warn clone. If I needed one to try I might take a chance on their brand. I can say the owner seems like a stand up guy,, but we have never actually done business.

God luck.
