No your not too old!!! At 33 I went back to college and got my mechanical engineering degree and I've never been happier. If it is going to make you happier than it WILL be worth it. When you don't like what you do it effects all areas of your life. When I didn't like my job it spilled over into my home life and that wasn't fair to family, there was nothing they could do to help, it was up to me to take control and figure out what I had to do and then do it. It was a burden when my income dropped to 75% but I've was never prouder of myself than when I took my last final and graduated.

NO WAY that you're too old! I was a copier tech for 18 years, then got into IT where I am now.
Go for it!

After 16.5 years my underground Kentucky coal miner job played out. I went back to school; Xray. Now I work in a cardiac cath lab 10 yrs +. I inflate balloons and deploy stents in coronary arteries, scrub and assist on pacemakers and ICDs. Scrubbed my first PFO a couple of days ago. It's closing congenital hole in the heart. I've been at this stuff long enough to realize how many things that can go wrong. But they didn't. Yes, you can change.

PS
I was 35 when laid off from the mines.

Hey, thank you so much for all of the replies. I have been taking a long, hard look at how much I like my current job (I certainly do not HATE it). I need to decide if I want to stay exactly where I am but ask for more money and benefits, stay in videography but at a better company, or toss in the towel and start a whole new carreer. And the only person who can decide that is me. So, thanks again, but I have some serious thinking to do. I will let you all know what happens!

Scott
