Default home built welder

It is time to put in / convert my alt. to a home built welder. Any suggestions on what type alternator has been use with good success? I would like to have only one alternator and be able to switch from normal to wled mode. Any help would be great. I did a search in the past year and found a few post but they were for an additional (second) alternator. I currently have a 82 CJ with a 92 4.0 and the york sits above the current alternator.
Current alternator is a "Denso". the numbering on it is:
5600 5685
TN12100-3450 12V
Family 90 HS
any idea on its amp rating???
Thanks for any help!

Higher the amperage the better, I built one out of a 70 amp alt. and it wouldn't hardly strike an ark.

built another out of a 100 and it would burn a 1/16.

go big
