proper way to get rid of anti freeze?

i think this has been covered before, but i searched and couldn't find it. what should you do with old anti freeze besides just storing it forever in old containers!

1. Pour it down the drain.
2. Local water treatment centers are capable of handling the stuff.
3. See this Thread that addressed the the subject last November.
