Urgent Help Needed CV Boot on 94 ZJ?

A friend of mine who knows nothings about Jeeps is having the Dealer do some rehab on his 94 ZJ. The Dealer told him he had a CV boot on his front end. They said it was between the knuckle and the axle tube and it covers the u-joint. I have never heard of a CV boot on a straight front axle. His is a all wheel drive V-8 94 ZJ. Thanks in advance. I posteed this on the fullsize board but it appears taht there are more on this one and I figured you guys would know as well. Yes, Some ZJ's have a C/V boot and joint. I think the labor rate is something like 1.6 hours and a factory updated boot (hard plastic) is something like $60.
