2.8L headers & Intake

I'm wanting to buy headers for a 85"XJ. I was wandering if any one can tell me what type of headers and where I can buy them at. I was also wandering if anyone knows anything about the Edelbrock Intake for the 2.8L

DO NOT BUY PACE SETTER HEDDERS! Having said that, good luck finding any for the 2.8L in an XJ.

Re: 2.8L headers & Intake

man, i tried to put a set of pacesetters on my 2.8, and they were such a BI***! they told me they would fit an auto tranny, but there was no way they were makin it around the bellhousing. so like he just said, dont get a pacesetter... and if you have a standard tranny, you might have a chance. heres a better idea, though. forget about your 2.8, and get youself a 4.0. use your 2.8 for beating on. thats what i do! hahaa

I wish I had a 4.0...

Re: 2.8L headers & Intake

I have had the edelbrock headers for a 2.8 wich are diferent from the s-10 and they fit great!!!! and sound pretty good. I mafe my 2.8 3.4 and kill the 4.0 on the highway!!!!the edelbrock intake looks ok but GM perfermance parts make a nicer two piece so you can use a 4 bbl or 2bll.

Re: 2.8L headers & Intake

the headers from edelbrock, what were they for ( S-10, or Jeep). the intake from gm performance parts.com is listed at $400.00. should I check a local gm parts store.

Re: 2.8L headers & Intake

The headers are listed under an XJ bought them from P.A.W. and the intake from GM is what it is but should not be 400 dollars!!!!!!
