Default Jeep windshield molding

Has anyone seen if there is a rubber replacement for the cheap crome molding around the windshield. Or if it came stock on a year so i can hit the yards??

Yeah all the newer XJ's use rubber. all you would have to do is goto a windshield shop and get one ordered, they're probbaly not more than $20 or so

It's funny, the only chrome on the base MJ is the rain gutter trim and the windshield, unless you have the chrome bumper, grille, etc. I actually have to say I like the trim since it's stainless. If it weren't stainless i'd have it ripped off in no time.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand!

Do a search on a posting I did in August. I did the conversion from chrome to rubber and I couldn't be happier.
