Default stock height shocks work with 2\" lift

I posted that rubicon 1.5" or 2" lift. If I buy after market shocks like at carparts.com because there cheaper. Would they fit all right because of an extra 1.5" or 2" lift. I would get the gabriel midrange shocks. I am a poor student!

Stock size shocks should work fine with that lift. You might bottom them out when you disconnect the sway bar but it would barely matter...........peace

They will work, but you'll sacrifice some downtravel when you take it offroad. If you want to keep things cheap, but make the most of your suspension, you should look at some bar pin eliminators.

Our BPE's extend your existing shocks by 1.25" getting you a bit closer to fulll suspension travel with the lift.

We even have a package deal where we put a 2" budget lift WITH the shock extensions for a great inexpensive priced lift kit.

A set of 4 Rancho RS5000 shocks are $148 at http://www.desertrat.com. Best thing is, they pay the shipping!.

I have a 3" lift with stock height rancho shocks, they work fine but bottom out before I can reach full articulation.

I'll post some today, it's been raining hard outside for the past 2 days so i haven't been able to take any pictures. Today is the first sunny day so I'll go out and take a few in a bit.

Yeah, youll have that bottom out problem with the shocks.. and then once you fix that, you'll have the control arm hitting the shock mount problem...
Its a jeep thing, there is NEVER a solution..
