I don't agree with much of what you said, but that can just be due to some personal experience base between us.
ATF doesn't have hardly any detergents. That's a myth created when GM/Chevy used it as a viscosity reducer as a TSB in the 70's to cure lifter ticks in some SBC's. It was falsely integrated that this was a cleaning product. It's not in a combustion environment and has no insolubles to disperse/suspend.
Now if you've got a problem with a trans due to neglect ..and THEN change your fluid ..and want to blame it on the service ..that's fine.
Exchange DOES NOT equal "flush". Harsh chemical agents should never be added to an auto-trans.
btw-Auto-Rx is not a solvent, and it's not your common "mechanic in a can". It's a combination of esters that clean metal. @ $28/bottle it's not for the AZ/AA/PB jerkjoint crowd of "commoner-commonality".
