88 cherokee questions

hey i have a few questions i just got a 88 cherokee it has a 3inch lift maybe alittle more and 31s on it now i have 33s that i want to put on im pretty sure they will fit if not i will just sell them on craigslist. the question i have is what size rims should i put them on, and would wheel spacer be a good idea for them also what is some must haves for my cherokee i know it going to be a slow and expensive project but any help will be helpfull. thanks in advance

Are these 12.5 section width tires? That's important. If they're 10.5 ..you'll still get rubbing. I think you need 3.5" of back spacing to limit rubbing. I'm pretty sure the front end is identical to the Wrangler, so the SWB forum should know. I installed a Warn hub kit ..so my front stock rims (w/holes drilled to fit the locks) sit outboard a bit and I only use 9.50 33" tires. BFG Mall-Terrains
