Installing Aftermarket Remote Start on 2000 Cherokee
I had installed a remote start on my 91 GEO Prism. On that install, I stripped, interlaced and wrapped the wires as per the install instructions. They stated not to use clip on connectors, the type normally used to wire up trailer wiring to a cars taillights, They now have a clip on connector that accepts a plug in. Is there any reason this wouldn't make a good connection for wiring in a remote start? I really don't like the idea of removing insulation and threading in the wire.
By the way this is a bulldog security y(I believe)remote start unit.
Thanks,
Bill
