Need help with my comparisons...

I want a great offroading car. I know the Jeep Wrangler is that, but
my question is whether I should take a good deal on a 2004 wrangler or go
for a 2007-8. I know there was a redesign in 2007 but I don't know how
it impacted the offroading ability. Is a 2008 much better than a
2004?
