Default Update: $700 \'91 XJ Laredo

I've changed the fluids, (diffs, tranny +filter, Xfer case, oil and radiator) tune up (plugs, wires cap and rotor), checked and serviced the brakes front and rear (pads and shoes, rotors and drums respectively were fine, flushed the fluid, adjusted the E-brake, lubed backing plates in the rear, pins and slides in the front), lubed all the zerks and replaced the 2 broken MMs. Next up and last on the list- replace burnt muffler with pipe. Total invested to date $776.37 (some stuff I had on hand )
Inaugural trail ride is scheduled with the club this 4-6 November at Rausch Creek OHV Park, hosted by Big Dogs OffRoad. Proceeds from the ride will benefit those hit by Katrina and Rita. I'll post pics when I get them.
Oughtta be a freakin blast. I've never wheeled when I didn't have to worry about how I was gonna get to work on Monday...

wheelin pics taken at Rausch Creek Off Road park in Joliett, PA. Great place with over 1200 acres of rocky mountainous trails ranging in difficulty from mild to wild. I ran some low to upper "blue" trails (moderate technical difficulty). The w/e event was attended by nearly 30 of our club members joining approx another 160 other registered drivers wheelin to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims- specifically members of the wheelin community hit by that storm. We raised nearly $6K on the raffles and gate fees.
It was a blast. A well organized event at a great location. If any of you get to hit the East Coast, I highly rec a wheelin visit to Raush Creek OffRoad Park. The trails are well marked and maintained. Detailed, accurate trail maps are provided. Primitive camp sites are available for a very reasonable fee.

Found this video and thought you might have accidentaly been in it. Just a guy in a red TJ taking a bad line through a small puddle and 3 or 4 minutes of him trying to get out....Kinda gay
