What was the last year the straight 6 cylinder engine was used in the Jeep Cherokee.

Ummm, I think it's safe to say the last year they used them was the last year they made them. 2001

Actually, 2005 or 06 is the last year(s) the 4.0 is being used. As soon as the current stock is used up, all jeeps will use the Chry v6 or v8.
