| | Story i don't post much but i do have a crazy story.
i am in need of a fuel injector, have another leaking, went to NAPA on-line and they have them for 49.99. so i went my local neighborhood NAPA dealer in Northpole, Alaska, yes its a real place, thinking thats a fair price. When i got to the counter and told the lady that i needed a fuel inector she quoated me a price of 88.00 dollars. I said in shock "your website says 49.00?!?!" she replies, well with shipping and all it willl cost you at least that much, I promply told her i will get it elsewhere. Then i came home and found one on autozones web sitefor 41.99 plus free shipping. ordered it. I think i will go and tell her i did find one cheaper and free shipping to boot.
there is a downside to this. I got to wait for a week or more but saving nearly 40 bucks i guess i can wait.
There is also a leasson to this to all that live in the lower 48 states. If you ship anything to us folks in Alaska use the USPS. it cost the same as if you were shipping anywhere else in the lower 48 states, it just takes longer to get up here. that also goes for letters too. DON"T use UPS or FEDEX if at all possible. |

| | Re: Story I woulda replaced all six if I were you and am betting you coulda found a 'set' somewhere that would have made them cheaper than buying individualy. I have known that USPS is cheaper for shipping, just hate giving them any money especialy after they went and produced a stamp comemorating some foriegn rag head religion and a few others I disaprove of. Booooooo to the USPS. But I do agree they are cheaper (and sloooooower) for shipping $h!t . | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
