Default Transmission Slips/Hesitates Into Gear

I have searched the threads for something related or close to this topic and haven't found anything as of yet so I was hoping you guys may be able to help me out. I have a 1991 Cherokee 4.0 HO with 333,000 miles on it. My problem is that the transmission slips going into gear. Once you get into first it seems to shift fine at all point throughout but it takes awhile for it to grab into gear. As far as taking awhile or slipping into gear I am talking maybe 2 complete seconds before you are into drive. I have done a professional flush of the fluid and replaced the filter and gasket but it has not helped the problem. Also the transmission shift module near the glove box has been switched from another jeep with no difference in the slipping. Although I should probably be excepting of such a small problem in a hi mileage jeep I would like to fix this if possible before a larger problem arises such as it not going into gear at all. I had another 1991 with the exact same specs with 200152 miles, and before I wrecked it that jeep shifted much quicker and preciser than the one I drive now. If you have any ideas comments or suggestions let me know.

Sounds like the valve assembly is failing, could be time for a tranny overhaul...You need some one to do a pressure test to insure you have adequate pressure going to the assembly.
