I can see why you would like to get this wiper mod installed, Kent, with a 6" lift you might need a step ladder to squeegie the windshield!!


Maybe I should consider lifting mine; I've had my "new" 96 SE for 5 years now!!

Actually the only reason I went to 6" was I had clearance issues with the front D60. I had planned on sticking with my then RE 4.5". I'd prefer to be lower . The other option was to push the axle forward, which I didn't feel comfortable with.

I had the schizo wipers as well. Cheap fix but a pain in the ass.

Go to the parts place and ask for the Help! wiper bushings, replace them on yours, and your wipers will be tight again with no hitting of anything but the glass.
