CALLING ALL KJ'S CALLING ALL KJ'S! The device that sets off the airbag can be disturbed causing the air bag to go off unexpectedly. Check out http://www.car-truck.com/chryed/buzz/b120701.htm for the info. They are recalling every produced KJ to go back to their dealership and get this fixed ASAP!

Actually the recall is for a piece of wiring that may be damaged in a frontal impact that may cause the airbag deployment by 20 milliseconds or so. the fix is to provide a small protective tube over the suspect wiring. There is also a recall for a "knee blocker panel" that may come loose and fall on the floor. BTW I've checked my knee blocker panel and it seems secure.
