Thats an interesting article but why would any one pay $27,000 for a liberty when you can get a bottom of the line 4 wheel drive Grand Cherokee for the same price?

Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.

Well, $27,000 *is* for the loaded Liberty, where the loaded GC is going to run you upwards of $38-40,000. I wouldn't mind going cheap and picking up the no frills, standard transmission (if they're ever available), 6-cyl for around $20-21,000 and seeing what I can do with it.

I'd go for the low end Grand Cherokee myself. Power windows always end up giving you trouble anyways, and no one can convince me that a Liberty/neu Cherokee will be superior offroad to a coil sprung and solid axle Grand Cherokee.

What was the point of the last picture, next to the Suburban on 44's? I've talked to the guy with that Sub. It's pretty sweet. Only like 7" of lift or so. Name is Titanic.
