Question Dashboard Problems

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty and recently my dashboard has been flashing on and off while driving. Everything stops working; gas gauge, speedometer, RPM, mileage, and coolant. I have changed the fuses but that was not the problem. The headlight and haxard lights work properly. Any ideas on what this could be?

Sounds like it is a ground problem; check the ground strap that goes from the firewall to the engine block. Most times, the strap mounting bolt is loose or has corrosion and that causes an intermittent ground.

I don't have a Liberty but most every Jeep made vehicle has the strap. Good Luck!!
