Bought a KJ yesterday

Well, the Jeep herd here at Carter Estates ( definite exaggeration) keeps growing. I bought an '05 Sport yesterday. No trac-lok, but the 3.55 gear ratio. It has the all-terrain tires, too.

Here's what I like: It has the 6 spd. Boy, that 3.7L works GREAT with the six speed. This vehicle runs very well.

I have no idea why anyone buys those other SUV's at the price level of the KJ. Man, these blow away Escapes, Hyundai's, etc in interior room and performance, and they have true off-road capability, too. And, being 6' & 285#, it is a definite improvement over the XJ in the roominess area.

Oh, well, I just wanted to gloat a bit as any proud new poppa should........LOL [img]images/graemlins/RockOn.gif[/img]

They are nice lil rides. As you say, they are a real value compared to anything else in that price range.
