Default Fog Lights

Has anyone rewired their Fog Lights so that they come on with just the parking lights? I know all NA cars are sold with the lights wired to come on only with the main headlights. This defeats the whole purpose of having fog lights. Also, has anyone found replacement bulbs (yellow) for the fog lights? They are 9145's

Only Jeeps that have fog lights installed at the Factory in NA have fog lights that work without the headlights. Any dealer installed fog lights will only work when the headlight are engaged. My sister's Liberty's fog lights were installed at the dealer, and I am searching for the circuit diagram to see if there is an easy way to change the circuit to allow for this. My Liberty's fog light came from the factory, and work without the headlights...as of yet to find the difference.
Does anyone have the dealer's repair manual?

To rewire: locate the relay that activates the fog lamps. You should have a hot lead to the lamps and one that becomes hot when you turn your lights on.

Now the one that is switched on and off with the headlight switch can be cut. Now splice that cut hot lead from the relay into the parking light circut and your fog lamps will be on when ever your parking lights are on.

If you want a seperate switch to the fog lamps, splice a switch into the hot lead going directly to the lamps.
