Default Water on road ends up on windshield

I am having problem when traveling on pavement at 30 to 40 mph through more than a few inches of water. We get some heavy tropical downpours (here in South Florida) and everything is flat as a pancake - so we get a lot of water sitting on the pavement. The design of the Liberty seems to move all the water from the pavement directly to the windshield, creating zero visibility until you get below 5 mph, or you get through the water. Anybody else having this problem? Anything that can done to minimize or eliminate problem?

The libbys hood is too sloped to do anything but act a a funnel to your windshield, you might try an after market bug shield. It might help deflect some of the water.

xj's do this as well, its ur short front overhang, combined with a short front end as in tallness from bumper to windshield hieght, the best way I fixed this problem on my xj was to lift it, on 31's my body was taller elminating the windshield washing through puddles.think of the way ur wheels spin, they can't throw water the way its hitting ur windshield, but it pushes it like a shop broom, ur front end is not long enough to prevent the splash from rising up over the hood, a bug delector may help, or even a front spoiler.
