Default Liberty Transmission

I just bought a 03 freedom edition...I have noticed that the transmission seems to shift a little rough. Is anyone else having this problem and will it get better with age(only 500 miles so far). Otherwise I love it, best all around in its class.

I have an 03 Renegade. We had also noticed some problems with the transmission such as it having a dead spot between 20-30 mph and 40-50mph, as well as, when we would back it up and then put it into drive it kinda bucked. I took it into my dealership and they said there was nothing wrong that they found. However, after we got it back....it has been perfect! My assumption would be that they just adjusted something when they checked it but didn't tell us if it wasn't a big deal. Hopefully, this will be the end of the transmission problem we have.
It's kinda strange since the week we brought it in I heard of 2 KJ's being taken in for transmission problems!
I really do love my Lady Liberty! She's so cool!

I have an 03 3.7l 4x4 auto w/22k on it and it has a P to D noise deal like a gear ziping sound w/alittle jerking Taking it in now for a long delay to shift from 2nd to 3rd . The jeep seems ok otherwise. I don't think your alone with these issues from what Ive heard, service bound asap

The "zippiing" sound is the interlock. All of the new jeeps do it.
