Dana 35c outer brgs

Has anyone had problems (as I have) with the axles in the Dana 35c? I have a '93 Grand Wagoneer that I MUST find a solution for eating axles. They appear too soft for the roller bearings and begin to groove. Is there a c-clip eliminator kit with suitable bearings for the 35c? Thanks
