92 4 Door Laredo Replace Drivers Window Regulator

The dealer has quoted $550 to replace the driver's side window regulator. They state the part costs almost $350. I haven't had any luck locating this part on the Internet. I wanted to see what it would cost from someone other than the dealer. Can anyone offer a link where I might find this part? Also, once found, how difficult would it be for me to install it myself?

You are better off asking on the mid-size board. This board is for the full size Cherokees and does not get much action. I have never done a window regulator in an XJ but it shouldn't be too bad. Obviously you'll have to pull the door pannel and the window off/out. Then you will need to remove the rivets holding the old regulator in. Instalation will be the reverse of the removal. If you can get a look at the factory manual it will give you a good idea of what needs to be done. What exactly is wrong with the old regulator? Is it the front or rear door? Power or manual?
