Default To spring over or not to spring over?

I have a 77 Cherokee Cheif and am trying to decide whether to buy a lift or go spring over. It's not my driver, used mostly for wheeling and hunting; so I want it to ride as good or better and fit at least 33x10.50 or more. Also curious about things like shackle swaps, tera-flex shackles, and such. Suggestions?

spring it over baby, save you money you can spend on your enigne or tires or accesories or a wheelin trip.

if you have a welder you could lift yer rig a nice 3-4 inches for about 60$
