axles in trooper

I am looking at changing axles in my Samurai and was wondering what axles and ratios come in the trooper. Also
are the punkins offset. I understand so may come with a dana 44 in the read. Thanks for any info MRurr

hey bam bam this is zukikid from the sammy board ...i also own a 86 trooper II.the only solid axle in a trooper is the back .no front axle to swap for the front of your sammy ..sorry . zukikid

My cousin has a little Sammy on 35s and is just waiting to blow another rear axle so he can swap in some bigger axles. He is using a quadratrac t-case from an early Cherokee and is planning on using the axles from the same year of vehicle. He said these axles are offset like his Sammy's and are sometimes Dana 44s. Hope this helps.
