Default Gear oil for 4 spd
Hi Everyone
I have a 1976 Terra Pick up with a 196 4 cylinder 4 speed. I think it's a T18A or a T19. Reverse is to the right and down. What is a good gear oil to use ? Is there any issues I should watch out for ? Thanks Kevdog

Use a 90w gear oil OR 50w motor oil. Ensure you are getting oil that is rated for diesel motors. Those are the two best options. I've heard of people utilizing vegetable oil too, but depending on where you live, that isn't a good idea.
