| | please, need scout measurements I've been restoring a 73 scout II, and I mean restoring! frame off, the whole nine. I need a good hearted scout owner that has their roof off to help me. If anyone out there can help, I sure would appreciate it! I need the measurement between the two quarter panels. from the left side quarter to the right side quarter. The roof mounting holes on top, all the way to the front of the quarters are where I am measuring from. Behind the doors. From the center of the mounting hole on the left side quarter to the center of the mounting hole on the right side quarter. Also the same measurement from the holes all the way in the back , again from left to right. I hope people can understand what I'm talking about. I've had to replace 90% of the body on this beast, panel by panel, and I'm banging my head trying to line all of it up before the big weld. |

| | I could go measure mine, but it wouldn't help. My roof has been off too long. Scouts that don't have a hard top on them are all in varying states of taco.
Wait, I HATE responses like this. Just for fun, I'm going to go outside and measure mine right now.
56-3/8 at the top of the bed right behind the doors
59-1/8 at the floor of the bed right behind the doors
I would have measured at the tailgate too (I know it's different), but it's raining. |

| | I guess I misunderstood. I cant get those measurements for you. I cut mine out and replaced the bed rails with plate steel. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
