Camper Tie-Downs… Happijac vs Torklift?
I just mounted a 10' Lance cabover camper on my 94 3/4 ton 4x4. I used the Happijac tie down system. This past weekend I took it offroad for the first time. When the truck hit a bump or slant in the dirt road… I noticed that the camper really swayed a lot side to side. The Happijacs are spring loaded to allow for this swaying, but it seemed a bit extreme.
Has anyone here used the Torklift frame mount tie down system? I'm wondering if this will provide a more stable ride off road?
