Default Astro Lift Kit

O.K. not really a 4X4 question, but I thought someone reading this BBS might know. I can get a great deal on a 2WD Chevy Astro. Would be great for hauling dirt bikes up to the desert, but I would like to lift it a couple of inches to put on larger tires. Does anyone make such a lift kit, or can a kit from a different type of truck be used?

Well, your question definately is a first on the board, but I think I can help you. Go to
www.californiasupertrucks.com
and look there. I recall seeing a kit for Astro Vans there. They make good quality stuff, so good luck! Hope this helps.

You know, I remember seeing that on the CA ST site too, but when I saw this post I went back to look for it and couldn't find it so I didn't post... Anyways, just letting you know that your eyes weren't decieving you.

Well, I was just looking for a couple of inches of lift so I could squeeze 30X9.50s or thereabouts under it. I mean we aren't talking about 44 inch Gumbo's. Hey, wait a minute, 44s under an Astro...Hmmm....

Look at last years Four Wheeler Top Truck Challenge. There was a Astro van body on a Blazer frame with a big lift and big Super Swamper Boggers. REALLY COOL!!!

Go to OVERLAND Vans

They do Astro/Safari AWD and 2WD kits. Basic lift to full on crazy.

I have wanted a small van for a daily driver, but I am way too rough on my rides for a standard set up. So I am considering something like this.

Hope this helps.
