Hmm, believe it or not, I just checked my answering machine and the people who owned the car left a message thanking me and saying that the cops cought the guy and his insurance is paying for all the repairs.

Thanks for all the suggestions and funny storys, it turns out the kid found out that i knew he did it and that all friends thought it was really gay and didn't care if i beat the crap out of him. So subsquently i recieved an appologie and he will be paying for all the damages. LOL
