Chev1500 is on a distinguished road
Question Questions: 1994 Chev K1500 4x4, 5.7L, shortbox, regular cab, IFS.

I was wondering what kind of offroading upgrades I should do.
(Me and my friends are pretty avid offroader's we go atleast once a week)
The only thing I've really done to it is add 32 inch Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's

Cheers,
Mitch

There's not really any upgrades that can be done to the stock setup. Maybe put in new bushings. But for the most part, the pieces that will break will need to be replaced. CV joints and ball joints come to mind.

i would go for a nice sounding exhaust. sounds good and u can be able to hear what ur motor is doin to help monitor it. cuz the tbi doesnt require a cat to run=more performance a tbi spacer will help some and a freer flowing intake would help. u can make a cold air intake with peices from autozone or advanced WAY cheaper than u could buyin one pre made. those are both fairly cheap. then id go for some kind of lift. dependin on how high u want. i know rough country sells 6 in for about a grand. otherwise u could do 3 inches n not mess with the torsion bars and do a 3in body lift to make 6 in. all depending on how u wanna go about it. u could do a roll bar for off road lights or even a headache rack for them for more light at night and they just look cool and ya definately cant forget about cb radios so ya guys can talk to eachother in the convoys and ridin on the trails!
