Default Funny Shift

Hey Guys, new here.... Glad to find a site with people of similar interests! I need your help! Several months ago while playing in the mudd with my 94 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 and encountered some problems. My 700r4 trans started acting up. It doesnt slip or have any of the problems I have read about here. What it does is shift way to soon! It happened again last week after putting it into 4 wheel drive again. The first time it just kinda fixed itself, but this time its still doin it. With the gear selector in D it shifts 1,2,3 emediatly and then falls on its face. When I shift it manualy its better but it still shifts 1 to 2nd very fast, even while holding the gear selector in first. I have a lot of old school knowledge from building classic muscle cars and race cars, but these computer controlled vehicles leave me stuck in the mudd! Any help would be great! This truck is my toy and my daily driver so manualy shifting it is getting old, and im worried im doing unneccesay damage. PLZ help, and Thank you very much!!!!

Since posting the original message I have learned that my trans is completely electronic. 4l60e? No codes are coming up on the scanner for trans issues though. I am however getting a knock sensor circuite code. Could this be scrambling the computer and causing it to shift so quickly? Or is it possibly my torque converter lockup going bad? Thnx again
