Default 2 wheel drive s10 blazer suspension mods

Hey what's up everyone?. Does anybody like 2WD S10 Blazers?...probably not, what about 4WD; any better. Thats what I have a 1986 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 2WD with the 2.8 V6-700R4 trans & 7.5" rear axle; regardless of what the magazines & others say, I like it & it's a ton of fun. Currently it's stock on P235/75R15 tires (28.6" o.d.) they rub slightly; nothing severe. I have been contemplating adding a lift kit with 31" tires. Does anyone have any input on this; such as suggesting lift kits & tires; what rear axle ratio should I add?. Any input on this situation will be greatly appreciated; whether it's good or bad, thanks to all who respond (if any).
