Default help with install of 1994 4.3L into 1989 s10

I have the computer and wiring harness from a 1994 s10 blazer and want to install it in my 1989 s10 blazer.
1) will the computer have a problem with not getting a signal from (or to) the transmission (it is a 700r4.
2) How do I deal with the harness ends? Can you point me to a resource to figure it out. Or does somebody know what to do?

Smile try this

i just recently replaced a 4.3 v6 in my s-10 you wolud not have to change any of the wireing at all, unless the motor was carberated ,and ur 89 was F.INJ, but if the motor is F.INJ then all you would have to do is place all the wires on top of the motor and every thing should fall in place
