4wd

Well i have a 1998 GMC Jimmy 4x4 and the 4wd stopped working so we did a few things like the transfer case motor and such then we brought it to the shop and the control module was bad and it was working fine then i go to put into 4 lo its a no go so then i try 4hi agen and it just blinks then goes back into 2hi idk wut else could be rong with it?
