go with flowmasters, inevatably you all ways find a cop who hates glaspacks. and if youre goin that far might as well do true duels. as long as it dosn't affect any sensors.
mike

Idiot proof is a lie considering that all of the idiots have tried it.

Adding a pair of Flowmaster 40 Series or Super 40ís will have an aggressive and loud sound. Are you looking for performance and sound? Or just sound? What year is your Silverado and is it stock? What kind of driving do you do with it? Four-wheeling, towing, street driving?

Have you seen our muffler volume level chart?

Silverado - If youíre looking for one step below straight pipes, you could try our Super 10 mufflers. If you want to keep the local law enforcement and neighbors happy, we suggest going with 40 Series mufflers.

Hereís a good video that displays 5 different Flowmaster mufflers on the same ElCamino. It may help you pick a muffler for your truck.

Loud Pipes

FYI... Talked to a tech at Summit Racing. Straights are by far the loudest however, the lack of back pressure is hard on the motor. He said " Flowmaster 10 series". I'm from Long Island NY. The people around here have nothing better to do than call the police and complain. On my '05 Z71 just put a K&N intake, banks tuner, and topped it off with MBRP single side exhaust. It isn't a screamer but its a very noticeable power gain as well as a quality one of a kind distinct sound.
