 lookin at a TBI 350
im gonna fix up an 84 Jimmy and i can get an 88 chevy 1/2T p/u that runs and drives(so i was told i havent witnessed it yet) for $350.00. im not building a crawler or anything, just a very capable trail rig. is this a good choice of motor? i totally rebuilt the 350 that is currently in the Jimmy and it has only 40K miles on it. could i just take the intake off the TBI motor and put on the currnt motor or should i just rebuild the TBI motor? i think the latter is what im leanin towards.im very mechanically inclined but any tips and things i need to watch out for in doing this swap would be helpful. hopefully this will be gettin started soon! thanks for any info J |
