Transfer Case Prob

I Have A 81 Chevy 4x4 Short Bed The Transfer Case Is A Np 208. My Problem Is That The Only Way The Truck Moves Is In 4lo. If U Put It In 2 Or 4hi It Just Kicks Out Likes Its In Neautral. I Had A 88 Blazer That Did The Same Thing And Fill It With Fluid And It Work Beautiful. But This One That Didnt Work. If Anyone Has Any Ideas The Info Would Be Great Thanks.
