Default Water for fuel?

I recently read an ad on facebook.com for a water type injection system. It shows a mason jar under the hood and its rigged up spmehpw with the battery. Of course they rave about how great it is, but I was wondering if anybody out there can give an unbiased opinion on this technology. Is it a complete joke or worth maybe investing in. I can provide a direct link from ther add if need be. Sorry if this was already answered in another thread, but I did search for it. Thanks in advance!

Ive used water/methanol and water/alcohol mixed around 50/50 and injected it at like 200 psi to cool intake air temps, but never anything like you describe.

Are you sure it wasn't someone trying to use the water to make hydrogen(to run the engine)?
If so, the mason jar would be full of water, and the battery would be connected to an electrode in the water, producing hydrogen, and the hydrogen would be injected into the motor.

A link could be helpful.

I know that in Ukraine scientists have invented such engine which is working on water. The principle is in separation of air and hydrogen with help of hydrolysis process. Because of this I think everything is possible about what you are talking about.
