Click on the Main Index button.......scroll down until you see the Toyota forums. The guys there are great!!! We help out when we can.

UHHHHH, I thought that is what the general $h!t chat forum was for. My perception of general 4x4 is to ask general questions, for example, my question about my brake problem that I posted. Brake problems can be not necesarily vehicle specific. I agree that if you got a question like what size tires will fit my brand X vehicle, they should be directed to the vehicle specific forum, but general questions should not be a problem, right? Looking for clarification and posting my 2 cents.

uhh... thats what chad said, all though he hasen't discovered the best vehicles out there yeat, that would be a chevy ofcourse [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] (haven't seen your brake question so it might have gone eather way)

Kraby, your post is exactly the kind of post that should be in here. General problems relating to all or most 4x4's. When someone posts on here wanting to know how to lift his 85 Ford Bronco or why his CJ7 has this issue, etc those are questions that should be on the vehicle specific forums MENT for them.

I think part of the problem, as illustrated by the Toyota post above, is people don't scroll down on the main forum and find their "proper" forum. They just see this first forum and post here.[img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

Exactly. People just post in the first forum they find. It used to be in the test forum or the BBS Question forum. But now that this forum is on top, people come right here and ask. For the most part, it is strangers & newbies that do this. Everybody else that is familiar with the BBS knows where they will get the best answers to their questions.

just wanted to say I really like this site and am glad I found it. I've gotten a lot of help on my Bronco tailgate and tons of help on my 4Runner...which I asked the questions to the people in those catagories who would know the answers.

i'm new to the site and i know how to read but i'm an old hand when it comes to my chevy's and can handle most all of the
getting unstuck problems in the family and off roading problems as i make a living doing so with my 1ton chevy 4x4 wrecker give me 2 foot of mud or sand or ozark river gravel and i'm at home just because your new to the site doesn't mean that we are dumb as a box of rocks or stale as a bottle
of old :censored::censored::censored::censored:,or nothing esle to do than sit in front of the computer like a bump on a log

Jeesh dude, we don't care how long you've been offroading and that you make your living by it. Read the first post, it's aimed at the guys who are new to 4x4s, offroading, and internet forums in general. No one insulted your intelligence. Although we do wonder about your grammar and spelling skills. USE THE PERIOD KEY, IT MAKES YOUR POSTS MUCH EASIER TO FIGURE OUT. Took me about 3 views to figure out what you were saying. Also, Caps Lock, it's a wonderful thing.
