Well I don't drive a 4x4 or a truck.. but I do have a 1993 ford festiva :P but its not even the same car any more its a monster! But it was able too keep up with my budddys rodieo on mudd roads before the mass modications!
Here is what I did I made a custom 7" lift blocks on the rear and 5" block lift and 2" suspenshion lift on the frount, with the lift I had to make custom controle arms and tierod ends cuz they were an inch to short,
But I blew my stock b3 motor (1.3L SOHC 60hp motor) and decided to go big to turn my massive tires 205/75r14s but I'm still going bigger the stock size were 155/50r12 :P soooo I found a BP motor out of an escort gt a 1.8L DOHC 130hp motor after a week of work I got it in the car running threw a couple extras in and now pushing 150hp! But the clutch is only rated at a max 100hp that's a future project to swap, but with me swapping out the motor the stock axels were several inches too short so I got longer ones from a ford aspire the drivers side works perfictly but the passenger side is still an inch to short........
So only thang left I need to do is make a longer cv no custom places will make me one here in kcmo so I figuered extend it with a sleve but the fordfestiva.com guys thinks its a bad idea so i Been reading multiple forms and aparently it works and people who done it havnt had problems so any other people have an input on extending my cv 1" with a sleve?? So I can get back on the road and taring up the back roads!!
Well got my cv extended and drove it goes 0-70mph in 10 seconds went to take it to nebraska to go offroading and I destroyed the clutch and rear main so more money to spend on that but I still kinda drive it without using the clutch cuz it won't disinguage but if I can figuer how to post pics illl show ya
