Hi, my name is Wesley, I'm new here and I have a question. My dad and I used to go off-roading all the time, and I was wanting a truck that I could drive to school on the week days, but go muddin and have fun on the weekends. My dad said that for my first truck he'll pay for half of it, and thought that a Ford Ranger or Chevy S-10 would be a good truck for me. When I get it and get some money, I want to lift it and put new tires and rims on it. About how much would all of that cost?

are you asking how much the truck, lift and new tires would cost or just the lift and tires ?
you may save money by buying a truck that already has a nice lift. I bought my 86 Toyota 4x4 pickup witha 8" overall lift with 37" Swampers for $2,000. there are lots out there.

if you were to buy a truck. a 4" suspension lift done by the pro's is around $1,400. then new 35" Swampers and rims $1,500. so about 3-5k depending on how much lift.
