M5OD-R2/M5OD-R1
Can anybody tell me if the stub shifter in the tranny for a R1 is the same size (outside diameter) as the R2? My shifter is still good but I have a project that might need the help of the R2s little brother.....

You might get better info if you measure yours for others to compare!

You are talking about the little ball part that fits down in the socket on the shift rods, right?

What I want to do is use a R1 extender with my R2 tranny. I found the R1 extender for body lifts but the same place didn't have the one for the R2.
