Longshot (&maybe OT)- AWD transfer case?

Have a 1993 4dr JX Auto, always used on pavement. For winter use on snow (in Canada) I was wondering if anyone ever found a way to connect a viscous clutch transfercase in place of the G130?
Conversely, leaving it in locked 4x4 for a 5 mile run twice a day on snowy pavement, what's going to break? Tires are 235/60r17 Kumho winters.

1988 Samurai Problems

I just recently bought a 1988 Suzuki Sammy 1.3 carb. I had it running perfect timing is excellent... new plugs, wires, cap, button, fuel filter, new accellerator pump, tried a new ignition coil, check all ground that I know about.

My problem is it will crank and idle fine, if I put it in gear and try going, it will act like its going to die out, but if I floor it 5 or 6 grand rpm I can drive it every where as long as I keep the rpms high. Can anyone help me?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

here is the situation....there is an area in SW texas that i need to have a vehicle ..the area(desert) is sandy and rocky...obviously a 4x4 is what i need...
HOWEVER...I was able to score a 96 geo tracker 2x4.
question...I am wondering...if I Locked the rear end...would that give me more versitility than a straight 2x4....and if so what would i have to do to "lock' it and what would be the disadvantages....as i will have to travel black top too.
thanks

Where can I get a limited slip?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a limited slip for a stock Sammy diff.

First of all, I do not want a locker or a lincoln. My 16 year old will be driving the Sammy and we get too much snow to put a locker in it. Short wheel base + locked rear + slippery road = bad!!

I know Calmini lists one but they are unavailable. Does anyone have a used one lying around or knows where one might be found?

Thanks!
