Hello, I have a 1999 cherokee sport 4x4 absolutely stock. What is the biggest tire I can fit on my stock 15" wheels? Knowing that, from there what inexpensive upgrade can I do to go to the next biggests size?

anyone have a photo of the roof without the felt liner?

were all the models wired for speakers even if speakers werent put in the hatch?
if so where does the speakers run from. I have yet to take apart my hatch but i have took off the top corner metal bracket on both sides to find no wire.

do any other taillight guards fit or could be made to fit without a torch?
as these guards seem pretty hard to find. ive been looking at land rover discovery ones...

and i have an idea.
anyone know the dimensions and weight of a TJ/YJ sound bar?
I'd like to mount it in my Cherokee over top my interior light and bolt it in using the "oh ****" handles. what do you think about that? fit?

I asked it already but i will try once again:
anyone know of a bush guard that has similar mountings to fit on a jeep if it wasn't designed for a jeep (Land Rover, Toyota, etc)

Is waag the only one that makes brush guard with the bars that cover the headlights?

Hi all,

I'm thinking about buying a 2005 Grand Cherokee Larado with the 4.7L V8. Its got 55k miles and seems like it's in great shape and is from the dealer. I read a fewe reviews on Edumunds.com and it soulds like people didn't have good luck with this one. I'm just trying to tap into the folks here to see what your opinion is with this vehicle.

For the most part it will be my primary mode of getting back and forth to work but will also be used for surf fishing on the beach, camping, hunting etc.

Interested in your opinions and experiences.

What do any of you do to insure that your air bags don't deploy while you're driving off road. It seems like a sudden jar or minor impact with a tree etc., could cause them to deploy.

Thanks,

Hi,

Over here from the Short wheel base forum. I did a favour for my sister(always regret favours for family) and changed the dead alternator in her 91cherokee 4.0l. Now the engine cranks but won't start, it's turning over quickly, so I know the battery still has enough charge. I disconnected the battery over night as well just incase the computer had a code stuck in it or something. Tried it this morning and still the same thing. No check engine light or anything?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help.
